My Clingy Little Husband

CHAPTER 015

The carriage had just pulled up at the Yun Prince's Manor, and a middle-aged woman, broad-shouldered and kind-faced, stood at the entrance with a slightly stern expression. Behind her were two servants.

Xiao Yuan was slightly surprised to see Chen the Steward, who had just returned from visiting her family, and she was the first to greet her, “Steward Chen.”

Steward Chen had always been fond of the young scholar, so she must have heard about what had happened at the manor recently. Her return, cutting her visit short, was certainly rushed.

Xiao Yuan helped Su Qingwan out of the carriage, and Chen Si, along with the servants beside her, immediately bowed, “Scholar Su.”

At this moment, the blush on Su Qingwan’s face, which had been radiant with the joy of spring, had faded somewhat. Seeing the rare seriousness on Chen Yi’s face, his lips curved into a slight smile, and he walked forward with an extra bounce in his step. He affectionately clung to Chen Si’s hand, occasionally swaying it from side to side, and in a soft tone, he said, “Chen Yi, you’re finally back. I’ve missed you so much.”

The tender voice of the young scholar melted the seriousness in Chen Si’s heart. She had already learned about what had transpired in the manor during her absence and had intended to give him a good talking-to. But in the end, she couldn’t resist his affectionate charm.

She sighed inwardly, thinking how wonderful it would be if the young scholar could show this same affectionate attitude toward their master. So many years had passed, yet the rift between mother and son still hadn’t healed.

Chen Si’s expression softened, and she helplessly asked, “You! Why are you back so late today?” As she spoke, she suddenly caught a whiff of an unfamiliar fragrance on the young scholar and, with a puzzled look, asked, “Scholar Su, what’s that scent on you…”

Su Qingwan instinctively sniffed himself. This scent… it was the lingering fragrance from Yun’er Sister clinging to him… a scent that made his heart itch.

Su Qingwan blinked his watery eyes, a barely noticeable smile crossing his face. “After class today, I passed by a few newly opened cosmetic shops, so I went in to take a look. I lost track of time, and this scent must have come from there.”

Xiao Yuan watched as the young scholar spoke with a straight face and calm composure, choosing to remain silent and obediently standing aside, worried that the steward might sense something amiss.

Chen Si knew that the young scholar had always been playful, so she didn’t press further. She said gently, “On my way back from visiting my family, I passed through Jinnan Prefecture and brought back some of their specialties for you—crystal osmanthus cake. These cakes are translucent, with the fragrance of osmanthus, sweet and tender.”

“…Sweet… and tender,” Su Qingwan repeated the words, savoring them as the image of those lips, like rosy clouds, flashed in his mind. His cheeks flushed instantly.

“Yes! I even tried some myself—it’s delicious,” Chen Si said, smiling at the scholar’s entranced expression, mistaking it for hunger. “What is it, you want some? Come, I’ll get it for you.”

Su Qingwan snapped back to reality, and before his unusual behavior could be noticed, he quickly said, “Thank you, Chen Yi. But I have class tomorrow, so I won’t keep you any longer.”

Chen Si watched his hurried departure and murmured in confusion, “That child…”

After returning to the Yun Prince’s Manor, Su Qingwan rushed to his room and went straight to his bed, burying his flushed face into the quilt, which was faintly scented with that cool fragrance. Lovingly, he gently touched his own lips, and recalling the kiss in the carriage, his heart began to race uncontrollably.

He occasionally rolled around in the quilt, like a shy young boy experiencing the first stirrings of affection.

This was the first time he had been so close to a woman.

He didn’t know why, but at that moment, he had forgotten his reason and didn’t want to think at all. Instinctively, he kissed Yun’er Sister’s delicate lips, never expecting… that her lips would be so unusually soft, moist, and sweet. In that instant, a tingling sensation surged through his entire body, giving him a pleasure he had never experienced before.

He couldn’t help but gently suck, softly nibble, and lightly lick and peck at her lips, feeling as though his heart might melt.

This strange sensation was addictive and intoxicating, making him want to experience it every day.

Every day…

Author’s Note:

Sorry! I've been so busy lately.

Nobody's perfect, and everyone has their desires. The young master will realize his mistakes later on.

Picked Up a Beast, Turns Out He’s an Emperor

CHAPTER 001 Late autumn rain poured incessantly in the deep mountains. Darkness quickly filled the void left by the setting sun. A small, frail figure climbed the steep, unmarked mountain like a nimble squirrel. “Whoa, whoa….” Her legs tangled as she sprinted along the muddy path. She flailed her arms to regain balance, but, “Ahhhh, ouch…!” Eventually, she slipped and fell into a puddle. The girl stood up, frowning in pain, and patted her waist and hips with her fists. Her clothes were already soaked and muddy, in complete disarray. Her sleeves and skirt hem were torn in several places. “Thank goodness I didn’t break the medicine bottle.” She sighed in relief, clutching a small glass bottle to her chest. White breath puffed out into the cold air as she wiped the rain from her eyes and resumed climbing the mountain. After a while, the dense forest gave way to a cliff with a waterfall. Panting, Arabelle stepped onto the slippery rocks and began to leap from stone to stone across the rive...

CHAPTER 156 Side Story 5. The Empress of Absolute Power “Where is Her Majesty, the Empress?” “She must arrive before His Majesty, the Emperor.” The nobles who had arrived at the Emperor’s meeting room were all asking for the Empress. “She has just left the Garden of Light. The welcome ceremony for the vassal state's delegation this morning was slightly delayed.” At the attendant’s reply, the nobles' expressions became increasingly anxious. If His Majesty the Emperor arrived first... As expected, their uneasy premonition became reality. “His Majesty has arrived.” The copper doors on either side of the meeting room swung open as the palace steward announced the Emperor’s arrival. The nobles hurriedly rose from their seats to greet the Emperor. Their eyes were busy trying to gauge the Emperor’s mood. His lips were not twisted into a crooked smile, nor were his eyes smiling in a menacing way. Fortunately, the Emperor didn't seem to be in a bad mood, so they all breathed a sigh ...

CHAPTER 002 “...Black Panther…?” Arabelle whispered softly, looking into the ruby-red eyes. She tried to avoid his gaze, but those crimson eyes had already trapped her own. The man’s gaze burrowed into her confused eyes, commanding her to look only at him. His large hand gently stroked her soft cheek, scratched by tree branches. The searing warmth made her small shoulders shiver. The man’s throat bobbed as he stared at Arabelle, his gaze predatory. He licked his dry lips with a bright red tongue before speaking. “How strange. You chew food for the beast, stroke its ears and belly like it’s a pet cat.” His firm fingers brushed over Arabelle’s lips, still tinged with purple. “Yet you seem to fear me, a mere human.” “That’s…” Arabelle swallowed the words she was about to say. She couldn’t muster the courage to tell him, ‘The black panther didn’t look at me like food, but your eyes look starved, as if you could devour me any moment.’ The man holding her felt more dangerous than the wild be...
